Disease outbreak? well, I stockpiled healroot and medicine for a reason. Toxic fallout? Okay, roof over everything and restrict the animals and people to the indoors and make sure I got plenty of hay and kibble stored.
Most incidents and events I can deal with. There's no way to defend against them beyond just farming a fuckload of food ahead of time. I don't mind the bugs, but I would prefer something that I can defend against without resorting to cheese spawn-controlling tactics.įor the same reason I tend to disable blights (aka "fuck you and your crops"). Otherwise they literally just drop in out of nowhere and barely give you any time to react before they start chewing up your colonists. I tend to disable the infestations because they're annoying ("Oh, you built literally anywhere under a mountain? GIANT MURDERBUG TIME!") and the only real way to protect yourself from them is to use cheese tactics to control where they spawn.
